When I bought this particular tutu I had Karley in mind. Lets just say I knew she would wear it well! She makes me want to have another little girl….but then after chasing after her for an hour I am quite content with my 4. I didn’t really chase after her, (Katie did) I just let her choose where she wanted to pose for a photo.
(photographers note) the light on her face is so perfect here because I’m sitting on a giant white reflector, if you look in her eyes you can see it. I chose not to use the reflector after this series because she was a little too mobile, so it’s not really ideal for little ones, but you can see what a nice result you can get with it.

I was recently told that I should find one area and specialize in it, for instance wedding photography or children photography or boudoir photography. I have to disagree with this pro on this subject. I enjoy the variety in my life and I think I can succeed in a variety of portraiture. Here are a few of my favorites from a couple of mini shoots I did for friends. Karley here proves that smiling is over rated. She makes gorgeous pictures no matter what.
